Privacy Policy

This policy describes data handling by the Debug Anywhere mobile app and its related services. The website and the services you choose to access may also process technical data as described below.

1. Saved debugging data

Saved scripts, environments, User-Agents, request headers, browsing history, cookies, and web storage are kept on your device. AsyncStorage is a local storage component, not a crash-reporting service. Visiting a website, executing a script, or sending a request can transmit information to the destination you choose. Local storage does not mean that all app activity stays offline.

2. Analytics, diagnostics, and network information

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand screen visits, feature interactions, and app usage. Firebase Crashlytics processes crash reports, diagnostic logs, stack traces, and app, installation, device, and operating-system information to help investigate reliability issues. These services can process identifiers and technical network information.

The app requests https://httpbin.org/ip to obtain your public IP address. That service receives the request and its network information. The app also includes the public IP address in some advertising-related analytics events and Crashlytics diagnostic logs. These data are therefore not limited to local storage.

3. Advertising and tracking choices

The free app can display ads using Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads. The SDK may process IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them, device or advertising identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, and diagnostic or performance data for advertising, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. Availability of the advertising identifier depends on iOS permissions. You can manage tracking permission in iOS Settings. Declining tracking permission does not turn off all analytics, crash reporting, or network requests. Pro removes in-app ad displays; it is not an analytics or diagnostics opt-out.

4. Purchases and subscription verification

Apple processes purchases and manages your App Store subscription. For entitlement verification and recovery, the app can send an App Store receipt to our validation service, which checks it with Apple. Our service stores subscription information such as product and transaction identifiers, purchase and expiry dates, environment, verification status, and receipt data using Supabase. Netlify hosts the validation service and can process request and service logs. This supports entitlement verification, subscription records, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. We do not receive your Apple Account password or full payment-card details. Clearing the local subscription cache does not cancel a subscription or delete server-side transaction records.

5. Remote management, imports, and backups

Remote management starts a local server only when you enable it. A browser on the same network uses the displayed address, port, and Sync Code to access saved configurations. The local connection uses HTTP, not encrypted HTTPS, so use a trusted network and stop the server when finished. Configuration data is sent to the browser you authorize; enabling this feature is not an upload of all saved configurations to our cloud service.

Imports, exports, and ZIP backups can contain scripts, User-Agents, environments, and request headers, including secrets you entered. Protect exported files and any browser or device that receives them. A browser download or shared file is outside the app's local storage and is not deleted when you uninstall the app.

6. Permissions, support, and the website

Camera access is used for QR scanning; photo-library access is used for relevant image and screenshot actions. Clipboard and sharing actions pass the content you choose to the system or destination app. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings.

App diagnostic logs are stored locally and can be exported for support. If you send us logs, screenshots, or an email, we receive the information you choose to share. Logs may contain network addresses, URLs, configuration details, or transaction diagnostics; review them before sharing. Our website uses Sentry for error and performance monitoring, including page and request URLs, browser/device details, and diagnostic information. Website hosting providers also process technical request information.

7. Storage, retention, and your choices

You can delete saved items in the app or remove local app data by uninstalling it. This does not delete exported files, saved photos, information already sent to third-party services, or server-side subscription records. Apple subscriptions must be managed through Apple. Contact us to request information about, access to, or deletion of data we hold; requests are reviewed subject to applicable requirements and records needed for subscription support, security, or legal obligations. Provider retention and processing practices are described in their policies. Providers may process data in countries other than yours.

        9. Legal terms
        
        Since this application is released globally, you must comply with the laws and regulations of your country. In particular, in China, in order to maintain online public order and social stability, please consciously abide by the following terms:
        
        1. You must not use this application to endanger national security, reveal state secrets, or infringe the lawful rights and interests of the country's social collectives and citizens, and you must not use this application to make, copy, and disseminate the following information:
        (1) Inciting resistance or undermining the implementation of the Constitution, laws and administrative regulations;
        (2) Inciting to subvert state power and overthrow the socialist system;
        (3) Inciting to split the country and undermining national unity;
        (4) Inciting ethnic hatred, ethnic discrimination, and undermining ethnic unity;
        (5) Fabricating or distorting facts, spreading rumors, disturbing social order;
        (6) Propagating feudal superstition, obscenity, pornography, gambling, violence, murder, terror, abetting crime; 　
        (7) Openly insulting others or fabricating facts to slander others, or carrying out other malicious attacks;
        (8) Damage to the credibility of state organs;
        (9) Other violations of the Constitution and laws and administrative regulations;
        
        2. It is forbidden to conduct various sabotage behaviors on this site in any way.
        3. It is forbidden to imitate or copy this application in any form and cause damage to the intellectual property rights of this application.
